You are cordially invited to the 40th Annual Lawyers Professional Responsibility Seminar. This year’s seminar will include a presentation from Associate Supreme Court Justice Gordon Moore, III, on key discipline cases and other discipline system updates, a session on making civility mandatory by Professor David Grenaldo of the University of St. Thomas School of Law, and a question and answer session with William Sutor, III, a disbarred Minnesota attorney, who will reflect on the choices he made that led to his criminal conviction and disbarment, and his first-hand experience with the discipline system, along with other ethics updates from the Office, Lawyers Board and Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers.
CLE credits, breakfast, and lunch will be provided at no cost to current discipline system volunteers including DEC members, LPRB and CSB Board members (both past and present), Probation Supervisors, Referees, and Judicial Branch employees. All others are welcome for a fee of $75.00 for lawyers and $25.00 for non-lawyers.
