Reinstatement

Lawyers may seek reinstatement to the practice of law through OLPR and LPRB processes under various circumstances. These circumstances include lawyers who have resigned their license in Minnesota under Rule 11, Rules on Lawyers Professional Responsibility (RLPR), and lawyers who have been disbarred, suspended or placed on disability inactive status in lieu of discipline. Rule 18, RLPR, governs these proceedings.

To be reinstated to the practice of law from other noncompliant or special statuses such as administrative suspensions, retirement or permanent disability status, lawyers should review the rules related to Lawyer Registration.
